Crossroads for Innovation
As the transportation hub of the triangle, Morrisville is called the “crossroads for innovation”. Raleigh-Durham International Airport, major interstates and rail put Morrisville in the center of a market reach of more than half the U.S population via road, and the world by air. Morrisville’s corridor access allows employers to “fish in all workforce ponds” in the Triangle.
I-40 is the closest Interstate to Morrisville, and is accessible by driving a few miles northeast on Aviation Parkway or Airport Road.
I-540 is located in west Morrisville and also connects to I-40, providing a direct route to North Raleigh, Raleigh-Durham International Airport and eastern Wake County. The completed portion south of I-40 in Morrisville is called the Triangle Expressway.
